Lives and works in London Margarete Roeder Gallery has published two portfolios with Deacon. Muzot, 1987, is a portfolio of four etchings, three on paper and one on waxed cloth, with simple line forms of Deacon's classic biomorphic shapes. Portrait, 1991, a portfolio of five etchings published in two states, shows Deacon's interest in drawing through his beautifully rendered representations of "mutated" vegetables, originally derived from a Victorian comic book. The gallery also carries drawings for sculptures.
